Measuring Change: Community Development Food Security Programs
The Good Food Club (GFC) and The Soup Bee (SB) advance food security and build capacity in inner city Winnipeg. While we measure participation in our programs, we do not have the capacity to meaningfully measure the impact the programs are having in people’s lives and advancing food security. For this reason we wish to employ the skills of a professional evaluator to develop suitable methodology, further our understandings of the impact of these food security programs and make recommendations on how they can be improved. This will advance the food security movement’s understanding and measuring change will help us improve the programs and provide documentation to government and funders on the benefits of investing in such programs.
